Butter

Butter

Butter had no complaints about his plight. For 3 glorious years he and his two brothers lived the perfect life. They belonged to a wonderful owner on a quiet street. Their backyard was large with trees to climb and bugs to chase. They could go in and out at will. Their only hope was that life would continue in this fashion forever. But nothing lasts forever, and Butter’s sweet life was no exception. From one day to the next they were homeless. Their owner got married and moved far away and none of the cats were invited to come. They were all very saddened and terribly confused. They hoped she changes her mind, but when they were handed over to SpayMart one by one, they understood. She was serious about leaving them behind and their life was up for grabs. Butter’s two brothers were adopted by a family member, but she could only take two, and that left Butter all alone. He was just as handsome and charming. So why wasn’t he chosen? He began to understand how unfair life can be. And as the days pass at the SpayMart shelter, his thoughts are only confirmed. Only a special person has the power to turn it all around and restore his hope for life as he once knew it.
