Davin
Davin is a second hand rescue but a first class act, just like his brother Bert. Life at the SpayMart shelter began in a very strange way. The organization received a call from Elmwood plantation asking for help. It seems one of the cats living on the grounds was very ill and needed medical attention. SpayMart went to the plantation and baited humane traps in an effort to catch the sick cat and take him for medical care. Instead, we caught Davin. And being a “good time Davin”, he was happy to come along for the ride. He confesses, the menu is great at the shelter but nothing replaces a warm lap and a home he has never known. It’s been years since that day at the plantation and Davin thinks that’s long enough to wait.
