Dootsie is beginning to shine for the cute funny cat he is. After his ordeal, it has taken a period of time. His owner lost her home after the storm, leaving Dootsie and three other cats homeless. Their owner did the best she could, which was to house them in cages until it became inhumane to do so any longer. Rather than relinquish them to the pound, in her desperation, she found a reluctant friend willing to house them until other arrangements could be secured. When their welcome wore out, she turned to SpayMart as a last resort. Dootsie and his buddies have been at the sanctuary now for several years. And although they are very welcome and secure here, he dreams of a life he once had so many years ago. His owner remains homeless today and is struggling to put her life back together. He’s hoping the right person will read his story and make his dreams come true.
