Hours before Hurricane Isaac, the sanctuary got a call regarding a small, orange tabby kitten taking shelter on a woman’s porch in Gretna. She explained that the kitten looked sick, with runny eyes and extremely thin. The little creature would have to ride the storm out on her porch because she owned two pit bulls and would be unable to bring her inside. Arrangements were made and Sally was brought to the sanctuary. She had a respiratory infection and she was covered with fleas. After rehydrating and antibiotics, she turned into a fun-loving kitten running around the office getting into everything. Sally never meets a stranger and is always game for mischief. Don’t miss out on this much fun in your life. And like most SpayMart cats, she’s used to being around other kitties.
