Pops: Pops was spoiled as a youngster. Although he lived with many other cats in a run down shot-gun apartment in uptown New Orleans, life was never dull. There was always plenty to eat and buddies to tease and play with. His life was so perfect, even though he realized his owner was sleeping later and moving slower. As the days turned into weeks, the situation continued to deteriorate. Their care taker rarely got out of bed and neighbors filled their food and water bowls and cleaned their litter boxes. They missed all the attention only she could provide, but all their needs were taken care of. Then, one day, their worst nightmare came true. Their owner left the house in a wheelchair and strange people they never saw suddenly appeared. Pops and all his friends were gently placed in carriers and carried far away, never to return to life as they knew it. Pops has lived at the sanctuary for over 6 years. He is quite beautiful and needs a special owner to replace the one he lost so many years ago.

The adoption fee of $85 (waived for Seniors for Seniors adoptions) includes sterilization, vaccinations, combo testing, deworming, flea control and microchipping.
