At only 4 months of age, this sweet little girl was living on the streets and fending for herself. Unfortunately, she was hit by a car and left to die. Against all odds, Sable was able to pull herself up and crawl to the side of the road. A caring citizen felt sorry for her and contacted SpayMart for help. Physical examination by a veterinarian revealed a diaphramatic hernia and a fractured hip, making it virtually impossible for her to breathe or walk. Her condition was critical and the hernia had to be repaired at once to save her life. She is presently healing and resting comfortably at the SpayMart shelter, but her hip must be repaired if she is to ever walk again. Sadly, her hip injuries are so extensive that a specialist is necessary to perform the surgery at an estimated cost of $1800. Animals like Sable have no one and depend on the kindness and generosity of people like you to make miracles happen. If you are in a position to give to this little girl , please go to the SpayMart website and donate to Sable. With proper intervention, her prognosis is good, and she has years ahead of her to spend with a family of her own.
