Tropical Storm Barry

Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards on Wednesday declared a state of emergency across Louisiana as it prepared for a storm that might become a hurricane. Up to 15 inches of rain on Friday and Saturday may result in overtopped Mississippi River levees south of New Orleans. Several parishes have ordered evacuations ahead of anticipated rainfall and storm surge.   Shelters and rescues are contacting us for help, and we want to provide all the support we can.
