Lauree Nunez

Lauree Nunez has been a dedicated part of SpayMart for nearly two decades, combining extensive animal-welfare experience with a strong background in nonprofit leadership, property management, and community service.

Lauree has co-coordinated the SpayMart Kitten Foster Program for 18 years and has served on the SpayMart Board of Directors for 15 years. Through her work with SpayMart, she has helped support kitten fostering, spay/neuter efforts, adoption programs, and the placement of thousands of animals into permanent homes.

In addition to her leadership responsibilities, Lauree has personally fostered kittens for many years and continues to support the Kitten Foster Program in an administrative capacity. She also assists with other SpayMart needs whenever additional help is required.

Outside of SpayMart, Lauree brings substantial business and property-management experience as the owner of LSN Ventures, a property management company serving the Greater New Orleans area and Destin, Florida. Through LSN Ventures, she manages a portfolio of residential properties and oversees the day-to-day responsibilities that come with property operations, ownership support, and long-term management.

Lauree has also served in condominium association leadership roles for approximately 18 years, including 12 years as president of a 50-unit association. She currently serves as vice president of both Sun Destin in Destin, Florida, and Riverside Court Condominiums in Metairie, Louisiana. At Sun Destin, she has helped guide owner and property decisions while participating in the oversight of a major capital improvement project.

Lauree has also worked with Elderhostel/Road Scholar since 1993 and currently serves as a group leader, guiding visiting seniors through multi-day New Orleans programs.

Her combination of long-term commitment to animal welfare, nonprofit service, business ownership, property management, and organizational leadership makes Lauree an important part of SpayMart’s volunteer leadership team.
