🛍️ Shopping Hours
- Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday & Monday: Closed
Credit, debit cards, and cash accepted. Fresh boutique, clothing, and houseware inventory stocked daily.
📦 Donation Intake Hours
- Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday & Monday: No drop-offs permitted
Donation receipts for tax purposes (501(c)(3) EIN 72-1418016) provided upon drop-off. Please do not leave donations outside after hours.

- Unopened pet food, clean carriers, and cat supplies
❌ Items We Cannot Accept
- Mattresses, box springs, and bed pillows
- Large major household appliances (refrigerators, stoves)
- Tube/CRT televisions and obsolete computer monitors
- Broken, heavily soiled, torn, or non-functional goods
- Hazardous chemicals, paint, or automotive supplies
- Infant car seats, cribs, or recalled children’s safety gear
Meet Adoptable Cats at Our River Ridge Habitat
Step inside our dedicated, free-roaming cat habitat located right inside the SpayMart Thrift Store at 8911 Jefferson Highway. Designed as a calm, enriching sanctuary, our cat room lets you interact with adoptable felines in a relaxed, homelike setting where their true personalities can shine.
Every resident in our care is fully spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for FeLV/FIV—healthy and ready to find a lifelong family. Whether you are looking to adopt an energetic kitten, welcome an affectionate adult companion, or participate in our fee-waived Seniors for Seniors program, our on-site adoption counselors are here to guide you through the process.

We are conveniently located in River Ridge along the Jefferson Highway commercial corridor, right near Little Farms and minutes from Harahan and Kenner:
- From Harahan / Elmwood: Head west on Jefferson Highway (LA-48). Continue past Folse Drive; our storefront and parking lot will be on your right.
- From Kenner / Airport: Take Airline Drive (US-61), turn south on Little Farms Avenue or Hickory Avenue, and proceed south to Jefferson Highway.
- From New Orleans / Uptown: Take South Claiborne Avenue into Jefferson Highway and proceed west past Elmwood straight into River Ridge.
- Parking: Free, convenient storefront parking is available directly in front of the building for shopping, donor drop-offs, and adoption appointments.
