Suzanne Plaisance

Suzanne Plaisance, CFRE, brings nearly 30 years of fundraising experience, with a career rooted primarily in higher education and, most recently, healthcare philanthropy at Ochsner Health. She has held advancement roles at Tulane University, Loyola University New Orleans, and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Suzanne currently serves as Vice President for Philanthropy Operations at Ochsner, where her experience spans alumni relations, annual giving, reunion giving, major and planned giving, and fundraising operations.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Newcomb College at Tulane University and a master’s degree in philanthropy and development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Suzanne is a past president of the Tulane Alumni Association and currently serves as Chair of the Newcomb Institute Director’s Advisory Council at Tulane University. She is committed to strengthening nonprofit organizations and advancing missions that make a meaningful difference in the community.
