May 2026 was an extraordinary month for SpayMart, and I have spent much of it feeling deeply grateful for this community and everything we accomplish together.
Give NOLA Day 2026 was a tremendous success for the animals we serve. Because of your generosity, we will be able to continue providing spay/neuter services, veterinary care, rescue, and adoptions for so many cats and kittens who need us. Every donation, every share, every encouraging message reminded me once again how many people care about giving animals a second chance.
I also want to extend special thanks to our matching donors, whose generosity inspired so much giving throughout the campaign. We are especially grateful to Susan Geoghegan State Farm Insurance in Metairie, LA, Susan M. Reyes, Nuria and Oscar Arias, Laurie Ross of Eagle Capital, and many others who helped double the impact of donations this year. Their support and yours will truly change lives.
Thank you for standing with us through another busy and meaningful month. The work can be exhausting sometimes, but your support makes it possible, and reminds us why we keep going.
